The Dreaded Green Guck

Last night Brooke did not want to eat her dinner. So I had Richard feed her canned Buffalo. She loves that stuff. After she at she climbed on his lap and wanted a tummy rub. Well--- I noticed dark guck so get the paper towel--Yep the DREADED GREEN====dead puppy or puppies.
That means all puppies could be dead. They were 2 day early not good. Get out my doppler I have healthy heartbeats in I know at least 4 puppies. So off to Payson Family Vet for a c-section.
We have 3 girls and 3 boys. All six black 2 curly boys all the others are wavies. Mom and pups are doing well this morning.

Judi thinks they should all be named after "chips" . So we have Ruffles (Can't Have Just One)

Doritos. Frito (Frito Bandito) Toastio, have to come up with at least 2 more names any ideas?

Puppies Are Due on Halloween

Brookie's puppies are due on Halloween. She is getting bigger but I think 5 or six pups max. Dori is the dad so pups should be beautiful--hope they look like Wanda. I don't think there will be any browns in the litter but who knows. Kind of like waiting for Christmas.

Saturday was a pretty good day for Ikon Portuguese Water Dogs.
Garth won Best Opposite Sex in Puppy Sweepstakes and first in his class. He was considered for Winners Dog. Rita was Reserve Winners Bitch. Beau won first Award of Merit. With an Entry of 93 dogs we did very well.

Callie The Therapy Dog

Last night Callie was invited to La Caille resturant. It was the annual fundraiser for ITA (intermountian therapy association). Caille was the FIRST dog to be accepted into the Huntsman Cancer Center. She is also a "READ" program dog. Going to librairies and listening to children read to her. THANK YOU David and Judi Harris for the wonderful home you have given Callie and for sharing her with others!

Ginger

Today Ginger went to Rainbow Bridge she was my dog for 13 years 11months and one day.

She was the last of Tia's puppies and my heart dog.

My heart ACHES!!
